There A little over two years ago, Jaqamaz gathered at JetStudio to record its first album: “Terre Intime.” Between jazz and maqams, written and improvised music, we explored the magic of blending styles. This magic was shared with you through the album and numerous concerts we were fortunate to perform across Belgium.

Today, a new chapter begins for the group. Shaya Feldman and Robin Solé are moving on to new paths.

Finding the right words is always delicate, so we turned to Fernando Pessoa’s words:

“Of everything, three things remained:

The Certainty that everything was just beginning,

The Certainty that it was necessary to continue,

The Certainty that it would be interrupted before being finished.
